Muskoka – Explain

Muskoka Valley – 10×12 Inch – Oil on Board

Muskoka in northern Ontario is a 2-hour drive away from Toronto. It is adjacent to the Algonquin National Park and Lake Huron area. Huge maple hills, rocky ridges, and thousands of lakes show original landscapes of some 250,000 acres. The landscape is thought to represent an integral part of the Earth’s initial crust. Rock ages can be traced back as early as 150 million years. In recent years it has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ontario. This picture only reflects a tiny corner. Late autumn quiet afternoon, ushered in the first snow, the warm and cold colors in the light show a harmonious state.
